John 6:54-56 - Whoever feeds on My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day. For My flesh is true food, and My blood is true drink. Whoever feeds on My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him.

Every day I build a life of repentance and with my own hands I tear it apart.

What wretched thorns beset me day after day and how I wish I could pluck them out.

How can I approach the chalice with these sinful lips and not be condemned?

Am I not a sinful, unworthy man?

Only You, O Lord, if You are willing, can make me clean.

Only You, O Lord, if You are willing, can purify me.

Only You, O Lord, if You are willing, can save me.

If You but touch these lips, then my iniquity will be taken away.

If You allow me to partake of Your Mysteries, then I will be healed.

If You abide in me and I abide in You, then my life will be fulfilled.
