Share the Hope

1 Peter 2:9 “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s own people, that you may declare the wonderful deeds of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.”

We have been called out of darkness into the Lord’s marvelous light. We have been called to reject the works of the flesh and live out the fruits of the Spirit. We have been shown so great a mercy that we should not be silent about the Lord’s mercy and grace. Others should know that such a hope exists to join this chosen race, this holy nation. We should not leave our fellow men and women to despair without hope as they continue to search for fulfillment in sin. We have been called to proclaim the wonderful deeds of the Lord to the rest of the world as a royal priesthood would to their worshippers. Declare what a great and mighty God we serve!
