The Doors of Repentance

Joel 2:13 - And rend your hearts and not your garments. Return to the Lord your God, for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love; and He relents over disaster.

Glory to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.

Open to me the doors of repentance O Giver of Life; for my spirit rises early to pray towards Your holy temple, bearing the temple of my body all defiled. But in Your compassion, purify me by the loving-kindness of Your mercy.

Now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.
